What is Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a highly sophisticated medical system based on the laws of nature without and within that govern the flow of Qi. Qi needs to flow in "rivers" throughout the body to maintain our Health in Body Mind and Spirit. With the flow restored and nature in balance, one can experience less pain.
Cupping
Cupping with glass cups, silicone cups, or cups with a suction pump is utilized in conjunction with Acupuncture to relieve sore and tight muscles.
What does Acupuncture Address
chronic pain, acute pain, injuries, headaches, migraines, fatigue, anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress, GI distress, PMS, perimenopause, menopause, urological conditions, ENT, allergies, asthma, eczema, post viral fatigue, and the list goes on....
Moxa
For specific healing reasons, Moxa, dried mugwort, is utilized to support your acupuncture treatment by warming, moving and nourishing.
Does it Hurt?
Filiform single use sterile needles are super thin. The needle sensation vaies widely from person to person as well as anatomy, and function of the point. Some do not feel anything and don't know the needle was placed, while others may feel a dull ache or tingling sensation that lasts for a very short duration.
