Community Wellness & Educational Presentations

Melissa (Missy) Steger has been a guest speaker and provided community acupuncture in various settings.  She has been invited to speak at the Womens Leadership Conference sponsered by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce, at a luncheon with the Business Women's Network of Howard County, as well as private support groups and workshops.  Melissa has also provided Community, or Group, Acupuncture in yoga classes, workshops, as well as work wellness events.  If you are interested in inviting Melissa to speak at your group's event or partner for community/group acupuncture, please let me know!

What is Community or Group Acupuncture?  It is an open setting where people sit on comfortable chairs or lay down on blankets in a common area.  Just a few points are needled, usually to promote relaxation and stress reduction, in easy to place areas.  The time of intake and treatment are much shorter, allowing for efficiency of time and a lower cost.  This is a wonderful service to provide your employees during a wellness event or to show appreciation, during Shavasana in a yoga class, or during a workshop.  This is also a fun thing to add to any private party or gathering!  Guest House Wellness looks forward to offering this at the turn of seasons and other healthful moments.
